 Today I'm sharing snippet #15 from the Becoming prequel titled Longing (unedited and in Taylor's POV)! Read snippets here: #1#2#3#4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14. Excited for y'all to get to know my dragons better :) 

Longing - Chapter 1 (snippet #15)... 



The girl pursed her lips together. “No, I’m sorry, we don’t. But there’s a clinic across town who does. Pine Meadow.”

“Great, thanks.” Taylor started to turn and leave, but first casually asked, “Could I get a business card?”

“Sure.” She reached under the counter and pulled out two cards. “We have two vets Dr. Greenwell and Dr. Lawrence. Kimberly works Monday through Wednesday, and Seth works Thursday through Saturday.”

“Thanks again.” Taylor smiled and headed for the parking lot.

Outside the couple going at each other like wild animals still continued their pawing. Taylor glanced at the business card before getting into her car. The clinic didn’t close until 9:00PM. Perfect. She would go to the hospital, get a new list from her father and also more general anesthesia. Once a victim was baited, it was the easiest way to get them back to her lair without causing a scene, unless she could seduce them. But from the look of things, Dr. Greenwell wouldn’t find Taylor seductive.

Reading...
  • (Reading) Over the Rainbow by Brian Rowe. Just started it and it's fantastic! The main character, Zippy, is so plucky and how she escapes her father in the opening chapter is awesome! His pitch: The Wizard of Oz meets Jurassic Park.

Random Alert! Alert. Alert. Alert...
 
Had a great time at Hal-O-Scream on Sunday night!! I screamed several times :P The haunted pirate trail and the roller coasters totally got me! This is me on the bumper cars, which I road THREE times...in a row!!
